Young Ladies

  1. The appropriate length of shorts, skirts, jumpers and dresses is NO shorter than 3 inches above the knee (or 1 credit card length). We encourage a neat and dignified appearance (i.e., shirt tails tucked in, belts worn when appropriate, etc).

  2. All clothing must be modest in cut, fit and texture. No bare shoulders or mid sections are permitted. Sleeveless shirts (spaghetti straps), tank tops and crop tops are not permitted. All outer clothing must be thick and dark enough to not reveal undergarments.

  3. When your daughter’s shoes clearly require socks or hose to be worn, please insist that they wear them. Sandals are acceptable but no flip-flops are allowed. Tennis shoes are preferable because of safety issues; however we do not encourage tennis shoes with lights or other distracting items. High top tennis shoes, clogs, or slip on shoes are discouraged.

  4. All school attire must be free of suggestive words or pictures, free of visible brand logo, free of offensive advertisement and free of “holes” and “frayed” design. Cargo pants in uniform material are acceptable.
    5. Extremes of hairstyles, jewelry, make-up, as well as with clothing colors are to be avoided at all times.

Young Men

  1. The appropriate length of shorts if NO shorter than 3 inches above the knee (one credit card length). We encourage a neat and dignified appearance (i.e., shirttails tucked in, belts worn when appropriate, etc.).

  2. All clothing must be unrevealing in cut, fit, and texture. Your son’s slacks or walking shorts must not be light in color to reveal undergarments. Your son’s shirt must cover the midsection and shoulders. No more than two buttons may be left unbuttoned on a shirt. Sleeveless shirts and tank tops are not permitted. No bell bottoms will be allowed and pant and/or shorts must fit appropriately at the waistline (no “Sagging”). Shirts worn underneath a uniform shirt must not be visible at the hem of the uniform shirt.

  3. Socks must be worn with all shoes and must be clearly visible. Sandals are acceptable for school, and socks are not required with sandals. Tennis shoes are preferable because of safety issues. We do not encourage high top tennis shoes, clogs, or slip on shoes of any type.

  4. All school attire must be free of suggestive words or pictures, free of visible brand logo, free of offensive advertisement and free of “holes” and “frayed” design.

  5. Extremes of hairstyles, jewelry, and clothing colors are to be avoided at all times.

Students are expected to use good judgment in dressing for extra-curricular activities and/or dress down days and in a manner that reflects modesty, neatness and cleanliness. Garments that are very thin, semi-transparent or “see-through” are not permitted. No tight-fitting, clinging, low-cut or high-slit garments are allowed. Shorts, skirts and/or dresses must meet the same specifications as uniform clothing in length (i.e., NO SHORT SHORTS, SKIRTS, ETC.) Traditional jewelry may be worn in moderation and good taste. Boys may not wear earrings at school or at school functions.

The Physical Education instructor will specify the dress requirements for P.E.
